Well Arts Institute partners with area organizations to provide a public venue to advocate for their members and community.
Through a series of workshops and rehearsals we guide participating writers through a collaborative process bringing their stories to the stage.
By partnering we strengthen awareness of the great work that is being done by our peers and our allies.
It allows us bring the voices of our neighbors, our friends, and our family members to the public through a process that is profoundly humane and healing.
We are able to serve under represented members of the community.
Creating dialogues around artistic events and experiences can offer perspectives not often attributed to the political and social justice arenas.
What We Do
Well Arts partners with area organizations to offer a space in which their members can share their stories. Each collaboration is unique to the community being served. As a result, we are able to promote a diverse range of writers and their stories.
Well Arts provides workshop facilitators, financial and logistical support. We hire directors, actors, designers and technical crew to produce staged readings.
We work diligently to make sure the experience of the participants is safe, yet challenging.
We also work with project partners to develop a marketing plan to promote the production
Partners co-produce the project with Well Arts Institute. Together we create and implement a project plan.
Partnering organizations recruit participants, help with publicity, provide volunteer support, and financial and logistical support.
