Thanks for your interest in volunteering. This is our tenth year, and is an exciting time with many new volunteer opportunities. We need volunteers in many different categories. Please direct questions to volunteer@wellarts.org and you will receive a volunteer application!

You can sign up for our volunteer newsletter by filling out the webform below. We email missives no more than four times a month, as volunteer opportunities arise. Being able to contact all of our volunteers all at once saves us an enormous amount of time in the office! So we really appreciate you signing up for the volunteer newsletter! Note: You can sign up for our general newsletter to the right, here, but that doesn’t mean you’ll receive the volunteer newsletter. You have to fill out the webform below to do that!

Volunteer Opportunities
Office Assistants
The Office Assistants provide clerical support for Well Arts staff. We have everything available from meditative data entry, to reading and cataloguing our library of past writings and prompts. This is a great way to learn the inner workings of the company, especially if you want to be involved with and train for the performance/writing workshop/facilitation process.
Scribes and Actors At the moment, we have a ton of projects in the air. We need scribes to partner one on one with our writers, especially our elder writers, helping to guide them through the writing process. We need actors to work with the participants to perform the stories. This is a great way to work directly with the people we serve!
Writing We need excellent writers to help us tell our story to funders. In addition, we need great writers for our newsletter and blog. If you have a passion for story telling and a love of writing, you’re exactly who we need!
Production These volunteers can help in a variety of ways from ushering and ticket taking to back stage help and loading in and out.
Special Events
The Special Events committee members are advocates for Well Arts. They help with a variety of patron events, parties and fundraisers. If you’re a talker, or you think you could be for the right cause, you should connect with us!
